Welcome to our engagement website which sets out our proposals for land to the north and south of Kenward Road, Yalding.
Fernham Homes has acquired the site from Hallam Land, who previously secured outline planning permission for 112 homes and open space. Please see the planning background section for further information.
We have submitted what is known as a reserved matters application to Maidstone Borough Council for the site. We are inviting residents to view our detailed proposals for the two parcels.
As part of the preparation of the reserved matters application, discussions with Maidstone Borough Council planning officers have commenced along with an initial meeting with Yalding Parish Council in respect of the open space on the south side of Kenward Road.
The access and highways proposals and number of homes are unchanged from the approved Outline Planning Permission. Likewise, the drainage strategy will follow that established through the Outline Planning Permission, as shown on the adjacent image.
